Fantastic opportunity to join a leading pharmaceutical distribution company. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling incoming queries and orders via telephone, fax and email along with all associated administrative duties.

Salary: £23,226 per annum

Hours of work: 8.45am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Breaks: 1 hour lunch along with 15 minute tea break (am)

Holidays: 31 per annum including Stats

Pension: 3% employer contribution

Other: Death in service benefit, Onsite parking

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Answering phone calls
  • Dealing with queries from customers
  • Replying to emails from customers
  • Arranging/recording/processing and filing paperwork
  • Making stock batch adjustments (if needed)
  • Invoicing any outstanding orders
  • Processing faxed and emailed orders
  • Taking off, checking and adjusting electronic orders
  • Updating Wholesale List and liaising with warehouse and transport teams to arrange deliveries
  • Inputting/releasing and checking orders
  • Scheduling home deliveries

Preferred criteria:

  • Customer Service experience within a busy office environment
  • 2 – 3 years’ experience preferably within a Pharmaceutical or FMCG environment
  • Computer literate with experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Educated to A level standard with GCSE English and Maths grades A to C
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as using own initiative
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and make logical decisions.
