Furniture Assembler/Van Driver

Looking for a hands-on role that keeps you active, on the road, and working on different sites? Ashton Recruitment is currently recruiting a Furniture Assembler / Van Driver for our client based in Belfast.

This role offers variety and responsibility, combining van driving with on-site furniture assembly across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. You’ll be delivering materials, assembling office furniture, and supporting fit-out projects while working within a supportive team environment.

Additional Information:

Location: Belfast

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Rate of Pay: £13.00 per hour

If you have experience in joinery, fit outs, or furniture fitting and enjoy practical, physical work, this role offers stable hours, competitive pay, and long-term potential.

Duties (include but are not limited to):

• Deliver furniture materials to various sites
• Assemble office furniture on customer sites across NI and ROI
• Carry out light demolition duties where required
• Work efficiently and safely to ensure deadlines are met
• Follow all health and safety regulations at all times
• Ensure work areas and sites are left clean and tidy upon completion

Essential Criteria:

• Background or experience in joinery, fit outs, or furniture fitting
• Valid, clean UK driving licence
• Over 25 years of age
• Mechanically minded with a practical skillset
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance

Desirable Criteria:

• Valid CSR Card
