HGV 2 Driver

HGV Class 2 Driver – Fresh Produce Distribution

We’re on the lookout for a friendly and dependable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our growing team! If you enjoy being out on the road, take pride in great customer service, and love the idea of delivering fresh produce to a variety of customers each day, this could be the perfect role for you.

Position: HGV Class 2 Drivers

Location: Belfast

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour

Hours Available: Monday to Friday- 6am to 2:30pm, with alternate Saturdays

Role Responsibility:

  • Delivering fresh, high-quality produce to a variety of customers including restaurants, retailers, and wholesalers

  • Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and confidently on planned multi-drop routes

  • Loading and unloading fresh goods with care to ensure they arrive in perfect condition

  • Providing excellent customer service with every delivery – you’re the face of the business!

  • Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues to ensure road safety

  • Keeping delivery records accurate and up to date, including PODs and route logs

  • Working closely with the warehouse team to ensure correct and timely loading

  • Representing the team with a professional and positive attitude on every route

  • Maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle, inside and out

  • Helping keep things moving smoothly, even during busy periods or tight schedules

Essential:

  • A clean valid HGV Class 2 Drivers Licence- valid CPC and Digital Tachograph
  • Strong geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland
  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in Class 2 driving
  • This role requires someone with absolute flexibility due to the nature of the business
  • Must have a clean licence

Desirable

  • Pallet Truck/Forklift Licence
  • Knowledge of health and Safety including COSHH
  • Food Hygiene awareness or knowledge
