Picker & Packer with Forklift Licence

Our client based at Nutts Corner are currently recruiting a Picker and Packer with a forklift licence to work in their retail department. The successful applicant will be loading and unloading trailers using clamp & boom attachments. Although experience isn’t essential the ideal candidate will have previously worked with these attachments, training will also be provided on site.

Position: Evening / Nightshift Forklift Driver

Location: Nutts Corner

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Rate of Pay: £12 to £12.65 per hour

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 7pm – 3.30am

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Sortation of goods
• Picking and packing
• Unloading and loading of company vehicles using forklift
• Working as a team to ensure deadlines are met
• Scanning products using hand-held scanners
• All other warehousing duties as required
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures as set out by the client

Essential Criteria:

• Valid Counterbalance Licence
• Excellent work ethic to keep up with the team to ensure targets are met
• Computer Literate
• Ability to motivate yourself to complete the job to highest standard possible
• Previous experience working in a fast paced environment

Desirable Criteria:

• Own transport is desirable as due to location public transport in inaccessible.
• Previous experience with fork mounter boom / clamp attachments
