Ashton Recruitment require a Sales Development Representative our client based in Holywood.

Position: Sales Development Representative

Location: Holywood (WFH 1 day a week)

Duration: Permanent

Rate of Pay: £28,000-£32,000 (with commission)

Hours of Work: 37.5 per week

As the business successfully grows the company require an SDR. This role will be to source new sales opportunities as well as manage current and incoming sales enquiries. This is a strategic role within the company and, if successful, will lead to greater opportunities within the business. It should be noted that technical competency in this field is not essential as the technical elements of enquiries will be handled by management.

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Understand the strategic business direction of the client – particularly with regards to market segmentation and sales planning;
  • Research target markets, prioritise sales opportunities and assist in developing sales collateral;
  • Manage current and incoming sales enquiries;
  • Proactively sell on a “Business to Business” basis throughout Ireland;
  • Contribute towards the ongoing design and implementation of the company’s digital promotional strategy;
  • To be an effective communicator between Directors, Consultants, existing clients and potential new clients
  • To ensure key communications and follow up activities are monitored in a way that maximises business opportunities and company growth
  • Assist with tendering as required.

Essential Criteria

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relevant sales role:
  • MS Office competent.


  • A 3rd level qualification (ideally in marketing / sales);
  • Experience selling within a professional services sector;
  • Experience in tendering;
