Christmas Order Pickers and Packers

Ashton Recruitment require multiple Order Pickers and Packers for our highly successful client based at Nutts Corner. To ensure our staff have a good work/ life balance we offer flexible working where you can pick your own days & hours to work on a weekly basis. This is perfect for those wanting extra work, students to work around their studies or those wanting part time/ full time work.

Position: Order Picker and Packer

Location: Nutts Corner

Duration: Positions are initially temporary however if you are interested in a permanent position there are opportunities available to apply internally.

Hours Available:

• 6am to 6.30pm – Open Monday to Saturday (Pick from any 7 days)
• 8am to 4.30pm – Open Saturday and Sunday
• 2pm to 11pm – Open to Monday to Sunday (Pick from any 7 days)
• 5pm to 10pm – Open Saturday and Sunday
• 5.30pm to 2.30am – Open Monday to Sunday (Pick from any 7 days)
• 9pm to 6am – Open Monday to Sunday (Pick from any 7 days)

Rate of Pay:

Dayshifts (Over 21) – £12.21 to £12.46 per hour

Nightshifts (Over 21) – £12.40 per hour to £12.88 per hour

Dayshifts (Under 21) – £10.75 per hour

Nightshifts (Under 21) – £11 per hour

Duties:

• Sorting orders for delivery
• Unloading and loading trailers
• Scanning items using handheld scanners
• Bagging and sorting stock into correct pallets
• Picking and packing online customer orders

Essential Criteria:

• Ability to reliably commute to and from location during stipulated working hours, using own form of transportation as there is no public transport available to the warehouse
• Must be able to commit to at least 2 shifts per week

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous warehouse or retail experience
• Previous experience operating handheld scanners
