Forklift Driver

Position: Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative Location: Antrim Duration: Temporary to Permeant Pay Rate: £10.97 per hour Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm Benefits: Overtime available 34 holidays per year (inc. statutory holidays) Contributory pension scheme Sick pay scheme Uniform provided Your own locker Refer a friend bonus scheme Convenient location off the M2 and free onsite parking The chance to work with the most modern printing machinery in the UK and Ireland Duties will include (but not be limited to): Supply of reels of paper and other materials from the warehouse to the factory Unloading lorries Complete goods in quality checks and reporting issues Booking in deliveries, filing paperwork and update computer system Maintain ancillary equipment to a high standard Completing daily safety checks on forklifts Maintain a high level of house keeping Ensure the necessary protective equipment is worn / used at all times Cleaning and maintaining the paper warehouse Identify safety hazards in the workplace Other responsibilities as determined by management Stock counting and location checks Basic I.T. knowledge-word and excel, ERP knowledge would be advantageous. Essential Criteria: Full UK driving licence B1 FLT license Must be pro-active in your duties, be able to work on your own initiative and work with others Experience of using a handheld pallet truck An understanding of Health & Safety requirements Good time management Quality conscious Ashton Recruitment is acting as an Employment Business.
