HGV 2 Driver- Kerbside Driver

Position Details

• Role: HGV 2 Driver – Kerbside Driver
• Location: Mallusk
• Salary: £29,503.50 per annum
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
• Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Operate specialised recycling vehicles safely and efficiently
• Oversee daily collection routes, emptying recycling containers and sorting materials
• Conduct daily vehicle checks, reporting defects promptly
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of your assigned vehicle
• Offload recyclables carefully at the depot
• Communicate with customers regarding recycling requirements
• Promote a positive public image through personal and team conduct
• Deliver promotional leaflets associated with recycling programs
• Follow all Health & Safety, Transport, and Environmental legislation and company procedures
• Complete all required documentation and reports accurately

Essential Criteria

• Full Class 2 / Category C driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC card
• Flexibility to work overtime when required
• Ability to handle heavy lifting

Desirable Criteria

• Digital tachograph licence
• Experience driving RCV (Refuse Collection Vehicle)
