HGV CLASS 1 & 2 DRIVERS

Our client, a large manufacturing & logistics company based in Belfast are currently hiring a HGV 1 Driver to operate their class 1 & 2 Lorries transporting customer orders across NI.

Position: HGV 1 Driver

Location: Mallusk

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Pay Rate: £14.21 per hour + Overtime (Time & a third)

Hours of Work: Core Shifts – Monday to Friday 6am to 2.30pm

Flexibility may be required dependant on customer orders & business demands

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Load vehicles for deliveries ensuring health & safety regulations/procedures are adhered to including weights and safe loading.
• Ensure tracking procedure is used at all times.
• Maintaining the driving hour’s rules & regulations regarding tachographs/Working Time Directives.
• Competency of paperwork, delivery notes signed & dated etc.
• High Level of Customer Service, aiming to exceed Customer Expectations at all times.

Essential Criteria:

• Valid UK Clean category C+E Driving Licence
• Minimum of 1 year experience
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph
• Customer focused approach
• Basic Level of Education
• Flexibility with working hours dependant on business needs

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous experience in strapping & chaining loads
