HGV Class1 Driver

Our client, a large logistics company based in Belfast are currently hiring a HGV 1 Driver to operate their class 1 & 2 Lorries transporting materials from site to site across NI.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road but requires fixed hours for a better work/ life balance. Our client prioritises their staff wellbeing and ensures all employees feel part of a team leading to great reviews from their long term employees.

Position: HGV 1 Driver

Location: Belfast

Duration: Permanent

Pay Rate: £13.85 per hour

Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm, Friday 7.30am to 1.30pm

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Transporting large goods to and from various sites across NI
• Working with a large aerospace company providing logistics & transport solutions business to business across NI.
• Assisting with loading & offloading of aerospace parts
• Shunting aerospace parts to various sites within the yard
• Adhering to all health & safety procedures as set out by the business

Essential Criteria:

• Valid UK Clean category C+E Driving Licence
• Minimum of 1 year experience
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous experience moving oversized loads
