Painter & Decorator

Our client, a leading Construction and Facilities Management company requires Painters to work with them on a various contracts across N.I.

Position: Painters

Location: Belfast

Duration: 12 weeks temporary with the view to permanent

Rate of Pay: £13.50 – £14.50 per hour

Hours of Work: 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes as necessary.
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
• Select appropriate materials and colours based on client specifications and project requirements.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on design choices.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard while adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
• Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and efficient work practices.

Essential Criteria:

• Proven experience in painting and decorating with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and team members effectively.
• A valid driving licence is essential for travelling to different job locations.
• Proficiency in English is required for understanding instructions and communicating with clients.
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics to achieve desired finishes.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
