Trade Counter/ Warehouse Operative

Our client based in Belfast is currently recruiting for a Trade Counter Assistant/ Warehouse Operative to join their team! This position will see you working within the warehouse preparing orders for delivery as per customer specifications as well as working with customers when they come to the store.

Position: Trade Counter/ Warehouse Operative

Location: Belfast

Duration: Permanent

Pay Rate: £11.00 to £11.50 per hour (Dependant on experience)

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Picking & packing orders according to customer specification
• Loading delivery vans and ensuring orders are loaded correctly for delivery
• Building relationships with customers via face to face or telephone when placing orders
• Assisting customers with collection of orders as well as recommending products they may require for purchase

Essential Criteria:

• Previous warehouse / customer services experience
• Computer literate
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Enthusiastic and highly driven individual

Desirable Criteria:

• Valid counterbalance forklift
• Trade Counter Experience
