Van Sales Representative

Ashton Recruitment require a Vansales person for our busy client based in Belfast.

Position: Van Sales

Location: Belfast

Duration: Permanent

Rate of Pay: £24,000 – £30,000

Hours of Work: Full time Monday-Friday , starting at 09:00

Duties include (but not limited to):

• Adhere to the established route sequence and timing set by the Van Sales Team.
• Develop routes in early stages and collaborate with the Sales Manager to identify and capitalize on all opportunities in the area.
• Foster effective customer relationships by delivering a dependable and efficient service.
• Ensure sufficient stock levels of the listed range are consistently maintained.
• Verify stock ordered on the van daily and maintain accountability for all van stock.
• Account for all stock in possession accurately.
• Collaborate with Sales Manager and Van Sales colleagues to explore sales opportunities in the region.
• Manage waste/returns to company-approved levels.
• Complete all necessary paperwork promptly and to the agreed standard.
• Strictly adhere to the company’s Health, Safety, and food hygiene regulations.
• Maintain the company vehicle in a clean, tidy, and safe condition.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Regional Sales Manager.

Essential Criteria:

• 2-5 years of experience as a van salesman, or similar.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Exceptional ability in meeting sales targets.
• Extensive experience in identifying new customers and negotiating deals.
• Ability to assume responsibility for the delivery van and the products.
• Experience in recordkeeping and managing sales contracts.
• Working knowledge of basic van maintenance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
