Yard Operatives – Shipping

Position: Warehouse Operatives/ Yard Operatives

Location: Belfast Harbour

Duration: Temporary

Salary: £10.60 to £11.50 per hour

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 7.45am to 5pm

Benefits: Free on-site car parking, over time available, pension and holiday contributions, PPE

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Assisting the loading and unloading of containers
• General housekeeping duties
• Assisting in the movement of goods
• Lifting, Loading and Carrying
• Working in a safe and timely fashion to ensure all deadlines are met
• Working in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Cleaning, sweeping and general cleaning of site
• All other labouring and cleaning duties as required.

Essential Criteria:

• Previous experience in an industrial/ warehouse/ manufacturing environment
• Excellent attendance and timekeeping
• Good attitude to work
• Willing to undertake any task to the best or their ability
