Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm | Friday 8am-3pm
Immediate start | Temporary initially with potential for ongoing work

The Job

We’re looking for an experienced Groundworker / Paving Installer to join a busy construction team working across sites in Bangor and Donaghadee.

This is a great opportunity for someone with solid groundworks experience who takes pride in producing a high-quality finish.

Experience laying porcelain paving would be ideal, but we’re also interested in experienced groundworkers with strong slabbing or patio experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing ground and sub-bases for paving
• Laying slabs, paving and patios
• Laying porcelain slabs where required
• Setting levels, falls and gradients
• Cutting and fitting slabs accurately
• Preparing and mixing materials
• Carrying out general groundworks and landscaping duties
• Ensuring paving is properly aligned, level and finished to a high standard
• Working safely and efficiently across different sites

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience in groundworks, paving or patio installation
• Has experience laying slabs – porcelain experience is a bonus
• Holds a valid CSR Card
• Takes pride in their work and has good attention to detail
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Is reliable and available for an immediate start

What’s On Offer?

£17.00-£20.00 per hour, with pay negotiable depending on experience and skill level.

You’ll be working Monday to Thursday, 8am-5pm, and Friday 8am-3pm, with the role starting on a temporary basis
