Job Title: Mobile Electrician
Location: Castlereagh, Northern Ireland
Salary: £36,000 per annum (with potential to increase depending on experience)
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday

Our client is seeking a qualified Electrician with experience in planned preventative maintenance (PPM), facilities management and Building Management Systems (BMS). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician looking for a varied mobile role, with flexible starting times, a company vehicle and the potential to negotiate a higher salary depending on experience.

The Role

As a Mobile Electrician, you will carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs and general electrical maintenance across a range of facilities. You will help ensure electrical systems and building services operate safely and efficiently while providing reliable maintenance support across assigned sites.

Duties will include:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and building services
• Completing reactive maintenance, fault-finding and electrical repairs
• Maintaining and repairing electrical systems, including lighting and associated building services
• Supporting the maintenance of heating systems and other facilities-related equipment
• Monitoring and working with Building Management Systems (BMS)
• Identifying faults and carrying out appropriate remedial work
• Travelling between three sites to complete maintenance tasks as required
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and reporting any issues
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with relevant electrical regulations and Health & Safety procedures
• Providing a professional and reliable service across client sites

Essential Criteria

• Fully qualified Electrician with relevant electrical qualifications
• Minimum of one year’s relevant electrical experience
• Previous experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS)
• Full, valid driving licence
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures

Desirable Criteria

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
• Previous experience in a mobile facilities management role
