Ashton Recruitment are seeking a Van Driver for our client based in Mallusk to assist with collections of parcels.
You will be required to collect parcels from our customers as per the route provided within the timeframe stated, communicating any potentially failed collections, and ensuring that all documentation is completed accurately and completely.
Position: Van Driver (Collections)
Location: Mallusk
Duration: Temporary ongoing
Rate of Pay: £12.90 per hour
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 11.30am to 7pm
Duties will include (but not be limited to):
- To ensure collections are completed in a timely fashion and meet company standards
- Providing an exceptional level of customer service
- Manual handling of goods and materials
- General maintenance / housekeeping of working areas
- Management of collections paperwork
- Assist with offloading collections vans with a high level of attention to detail when scanning and segregating parcels
- Highlight any collections that are going to be late and the reason for the delay to the operations team and pass on any queries
- Keep your vehicle clean and presentable at all times
- Perform general vehicle maintenance and report any defects
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience as a van driver working to targets
- Access NI check to be completed
- Full UK driving licence (must have minimum 2 years clean licence)
- Reliable and punctual, with good attention to detail
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
- Ability to co-operate successfully with fellow staff at all levels
- Good knowledge of the local area and road networks

We're recruiting Production Operatives to join a specialist manufacturing team in Nutts Corner, Dundrod, working within a modern clean room environment. As a Production Operative, you'll play a key role in supporting the manufacture of specialist aerospace-related products. Working as part of an experienced team, you'll be responsible for ensuring products are prepared, processed and packaged to the highest standards while following strict quality and safety procedures.
Position: Production Operative
Location: Nutts Corner, Dundrod
Duration: Temporary to Permanent
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour, increasing upon successful permanent appointment
Hours: 39 hours per week
Shift: 7:30am - 4:30pm
This role offers an excellent opportunity to secure permanent employment with a well-established manufacturing business and develop your skills in a specialist production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating mixing machinery
- Mixing and decanting aerospace-related materials

What We're Looking For:
